What payment reminders don't do
Reminder texts are one-way, so customers can't reply. Korda Pro doesn't add late fees or pass debts to collectors; those decisions stay with you. SMS reminders aren't included in the free trial; during the trial, reminders are sent via email when Gmail is connected. Here's the 1-7-14-28 reminder schedule, explained, with what to do if the final reminder doesn't work.

Frequently asked questions
When do reminders start?
The day after the due date, then at 7, 14 and 28 days overdue. The same days apply to email and SMS.
Can I stop reminders for one customer?
Yes. Ask Korda Pro in the chat to pause follow-up for that customer.
Are SMS reminders included in the free trial?
No. During the 14-day trial, reminders go by email when Gmail is connected.
Can customers reply to the reminder text?
No. Reminder texts are one-way. Customers who want to talk about the invoice will contact you directly.
How does the Pay Now link work?
If you've switched on Pay Now in Xero with Stripe or GoCardless, the link goes on the invoice and in every SMS reminder.
What should a payment reminder say?
Keep it short and polite: the invoice number, the amount owing, the due date and an easy way to pay. Korda Pro sends reminders 1, 7, 14 and 28 days after the due date, each one a little firmer but always friendly, and they stop automatically once the invoice is paid.
